Travelling to La Nucia

Car
You can get to La Nucia by road using the Motorway of the Mediterranean (A-7) and turning off at nº 65 exit. The N-332 road is the paralell axis to the Valencia Coast, which connects La Nucia with Alicante and Valencia. There are three main exits to La Nucia: terra Mitica, Benidorm and Altea

Fares are always more or less the same: 50 or 60 euros Alicante-La Nucia and 10 euros Benidorm-La Nucia. From the airport, the cheapest and most advisable service is Radio Taxi Benidorm - there is a fixed rate of 50 euros on the motorway.
Bus
La Nucia has an extensive network of buses which enable you to connect with the most important Central Bus Stations in mainland Spain and from them to travel to any country in Europe.
Train
Those who prefer travelling by train have at their disposal in Alicante the most modern Altavis trains, which will soon be reinforced by the AVE high-speed train. There is also a Trenet Service from Alicante to benidorm where you can connect with La Nucia by bus or taxi.

It is very easy to get to the area of la Marina baixa, where La Nucia is located, by air because there are three nearby airports - all of them have a dense air traffic with a lot of national and international flights. So you have the possibility to travel to La Nucia from any European country.
El Altet Airport, next to the city of Alicante, is the fourth in mainland Spain with regard to density of air traffic, i.e, with links to all national and international destinations. It offers scheduled flights to London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Munich, Paris (one hour and a half), Brussels, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo and Orán as well as many national flights to every Spanish city with an airport. It is 80 Kms away from La Nucia and has an excellet network of buses (there are buses to Alicante every hour) and a good taxi service.
Another possibility is the manises Airport in valencia, 140 Kms away from La Nucia. From there you can travel to the most important cities in Spain and to the rest of Europe.
San Javier Airport in Murcia is 146 Kms from La Nucia and it takes approximately one hour and a half to get there on the motorway or main roads. This airport has an advantage over the orthers: it offers charter flights from European capital cities.
