La Nucia is a beautifull town in the province of Alicante, Comunidad Valenciana, in the region of La Marina Baixa. It is located in a quiet valley, in a privileged setting near the sea and the mountains. The town is only 10 Kms away from Benidorm, 53 Kms rom Alicante and 115 Kms from Valencia. It borders on Polop and Callosa d'en Sarria to the north, on Altea to the east, on Alfas del Pi to the south and on Benidorm to the west. Serra Aitana and Aixorta suround it and protect it from the cold northem winds.
The Motorway of the Mediterranean goes though the municipality, so providing an international route, which links up in Alicante 45 kilometres away, which main roads leading to Madrid, Murcia and Andalucia.
